CHRISTMAS BIBLE SCHOOL
By Mary Webber
December 19th was a fun-filled day that allowed
10 youth from FUMC to host children from the community
in learning about Christ, Christmas and themselves.
While our turnout was not as many as we planned
for, it was enough to get the job done well.
Our youth served as
helpers at craft stations and Emily and Amber
Pollazo manned the cookie decorating station alone.
The youth served as guides, escorts to
restrooms, helpers, extra hands for little ones,
demonstrations of exercise and played music to help
entertain our guests.
If more adults had seen our youth, they would
have been proud and blessed to see how well they
stepped up to the place and put their minds, hands and
bodies to work.
Words cannot say thank you enough to Jennifer
Medlin, Delia Gutierrez, Joy Edwards, Faith Gonzales
and Pastor Peter for their help throughout the day
which was blessed further by Janet Miller, Reva Sears,
Richard Whitfield and Greg Moore who each had a vital
role to play in the events of the day.
Great job — well done!
