We are a diverse group that celebrates community as children of God.  Our church is a space in which we share in the love of God, the encouragement of the Word of God, the mercy of God, and the will of God for our lives.​
​We believe in the grace of God and seek to live as people who love God, follow Jesus, and serve our community.

Our History

First United Methodist Church of Laredo is a congregation that began as a mission in 1871. The current church campus has been home since 1949. We celebrate many connections within our community.  For the common good of our community - we seek to be in relationship and conversation with other faith groups, business-persons, citizens, community leaders, educators, students, and neighbors.
